MEC Motlhabane Warns Scholar Bus Operators to Ignore the Anonymous Shutdown Call and Continue their Transportation Services Without Interruption

MEC Motlhabane, North West Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, has learnt with shock of an anonymous facebook message from a fake facebook account doing round on social media. He thus issue a stern warning to those peddling such callous and irresponsible shutdown call to desist from causing unnecessary panic in the otherwise reliable, regular and much needed learner transport service.

"This misleading message must be ignored with the contempt it deserves. There should be no interruption to learner transportation services on Monday, 29th April 2019 and beyond." Pleaded MEC Motlhabane.

These serious threats to burn buses borders on anarchy and criminality. We will not allow innocent learners to be prevented from going to school". Emphasised the distraught MEC.

Meanwhile, Departmental officials are working around the clock to ensure that backlog payments are effected without further delays. Those who still have outstanding quiries are invited to approach the department and they will be assisted.

The department remains committed to ensuring the smooth running of the Scholar transport services

"Our Law law enforcement agencies have been alerted to ensure that these ill-intented and malicious action do not see light of day." Concluded MEC Motlhabane.
